Timeline:
Submit your poem or essay with parental consent by May 15th through the form.
All participants will be informed of the results by May 24th 2024.
In person award ceremony on May 30th at 7 p.m.
Each poem/essay must be accompanied with a parental consent form and acknowledgement of student authorship. This form will also inform us if you would like to us to publish your writing or not. The forms are linked to each grade span webpage.
The judges will be looking for the student’s authentic voice and genuine experiences.
Please Note: All stories will be treated as confidential. They will only be published anonymously, if the student and parental consent is given. If the poem/essay may identify a particular student then it will not be published. Student and family privacy is of utmost importance to the judges and organizers.
