The essays-poems submitted were powerful, and authentic. A team of adult and LHS Writing Club and LHS Poetry Club students read each piece multiple times to arrive at the following list of award winning submissions. Given here in alphabetic order.
All the poems and essays may be ePublished on this website with poet/author and parent permission. They will be anonymous. Student and family privacy is of utmost importance to the competition organizers.
